Dolvean House is a Bed and Breakfast situated in Falmouth. Working with Oracle Design using our inhouse WordPress theme, one of the key functional requirements for the new Dolvean House website was to allow for German translation, as a high percentage of their target audience derive from Germany. Using the WordPress Plugin WPML we were able to achieve an easy to use translation tool on the front end of the site, with German translation being applied to the major pages and post. This fit in seamlessly with our template theme and as an additional functionality requirement we were also requested to showcase their bedrooms, with a gallery, price and facilities section. We used a custom post type with custom fields to allow for easy content upload with an additional post template to give the rooms a separate layout to stand apart from the general post and page layouts.
Our fluidly responsive design and development, ensures our websites work across multiple devices, including tablets and phones. Using, the latest techonologies, this ensures all of our websites utilise the viewers screen to give the maximimium impact.
