Responsive Website Design
Responsive web design has been around for several years now, but in 2013 it became obvious that it was here, and it wasn’t going anywhere.
For web developers like myself this meant that there is a brand new skill to learn and also that developing, testing and updating websites wasn’t going to be the same again. Simple amendments to any structural change meant that this change had to be followed through for each different device layout and would require testing, making for a somewhat lengthy process.
As with any new skill, over time this soon becomes second nature and building responsive websites certainly feels that way for me. I ensure each website I build with responsive views is fully tested across all major devices and that the end user is presented with a clean, functional website which maintains the look and design of the full desktop version.
